Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how BrandComm Asia ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use https://brandcommasia.com/ and our related services, including our free PR audit, contact forms, strategy-call scheduling, and newsletter.
Who we are
BrandComm Asia is the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at Tower 4, 22R Don Chino Roces, San Lorenzo, Makati City, or by the contact details below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your title/salutation, full name, email address, phone number, company name, website, industry and country when you request a PR audit, contact us, or book a call.
- The content of any message, notes, or scheduling preferences (your requested call date and time) you submit.
- Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter (we use double opt-in, so we email you to confirm before subscribing you).
Information we collect automatically
- Your IP address, browser type / user-agent, the page you submitted a form from, and the date and time of your submission. We store this with form submissions and newsletter sign-ups, and in our security logs.
- An approximate location (such as your country) derived from your IP address, used for security and abuse-prevention where enabled.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies & similar technologies" below).
- Records of blocked or suspicious activity (for example failed logins, spam submissions, and rate-limited or banned IP addresses) generated by our security tools.
The free PR audit
When you request a free PR audit and submit a website address, our system retrieves and analyses publicly available pages of that website to generate an automated readiness score and report. We do not log in to, attempt to access non-public areas of, or store private data from that website. By submitting a website you confirm you own it or are otherwise authorised to request its analysis.
How we use your information
- To generate and email your PR audit report and respond to your enquiry.
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule, or follow up on your strategy call, and to notify our team of your request.
- To send you our newsletter and marketing communications where you have asked us to — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website, including preventing spam, fraud, and abuse, and limiting automated requests.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Our legal bases
Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Your consent — for the newsletter and for non-essential (analytics / marketing) cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract or steps you request — to provide the audit, schedule your call, and respond to enquiries you start.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and run our business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
Cookies & similar technologies
We use a small number of first-party cookies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choices. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies (to understand how the site is used) and marketing cookies (to make our communications more relevant).
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose categories. Non-essential scripts stay disabled until you allow the matching category. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the consent cookie in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Who we share data with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and our services, and only as needed. These may include:
- Our web hosting and email-delivery providers (to store data and send the emails described above).
- Google reCAPTCHA, where enabled, to tell humans from bots. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Google Fonts / Material Symbols and the jsDelivr content-delivery network, which serve fonts and icons and receive your IP address in order to deliver those assets to your browser.
- Where enabled, IP-geolocation, IP-reputation, or email-verification providers used for security and anti-abuse.
- Professional advisers, or authorities and other parties, where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
International transfers
Some of our providers (for example Google and CDN operators) may process your information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your information when it is transferred.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above — for example to provide your audit, manage your booking, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal or accounting requirements — after which we delete or anonymise it. Security logs are kept for a limited period for abuse-prevention. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights & choices").
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, anti-spam and rate-limiting, and bot protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Please review it periodically.
